On Thursday Dec 22, 2011, local Edmonton band, Blue Goat, will be celebrating the Winter Solstice with a live performance/light show at The Telus World of Science. Blue Goat: Live at the Dome will take place in The Margaret Ziedler Star Theatre at 8:00pm. The Band’s set list will consist of 50% original material. The other 50% is reserved for what Blue Goat calls The Journey to the Dark Side, A Pink Floyd
retrospective which includes one piece from every Pre-Dark Side album performed in consecutive order. We feel That Dark Side of the Moon, and the Floyd albums that followed have fully received the exposure they deserve. It’s the music that lead up to the legendary album that we will be presenting at The Dome Show. Musically we all come from very different places but Pink Floyd provides a common ground for everyone involved. Not to mention that Floyd’s spacey sound is the ideal accompaniment to the atmosphere that the star theatre provides so effortlessly.
